During the religious persecution of 1936, he accepted arrest with remarkable serenity, reassuring his family that his soul belonged to God. Facing death with courage and forgiveness, he bore witness to the hope of eternal life. His martyrdom remains a testimony to unwavering faith, priestly dedication, and complete confidence in Christ.
